Shooter Hunt, RHP, Tulane (93 mph fastball. good slider. walks too many. gets many of his Ks by getting guys to chase slider in dirt. good frame)
Christian Friedrich, LHP, Eastern Kentucky (88-92 fastball. Great curve. needs to throw more strikes)
Josh Fields, RHP, UGA (Reliever) (big fastball. good curve. athletic. unhittable. walks too many.)
???Andrew Cashner, RHP, Texas Christian (fast riser. Hard throwing closer. Tons of Ks. I know less about him than others)

Lance Lynn, LHP, Ole Miss
Wade Miley, LHP, SE Louisiana (despite small school standing has been on scouting rader since HS. Good fastball and slider. Athletic)

Second round
Jacob Thompson, RHP, UVA (6-6, 200 frame. Showed solid 90-93 fastball with great command and good breaker last year. Velo dropped to 88-91 this year and walks went up sharply. An off Jr. year after a dominant Soph and very good freshman year.
Tyson Ross, RHP. Cal (health?)

Tim Brewer, LHP, UCLA (Live armed, ex-OFer. Low 90s fb. Good breaker. Fb velo down recently)

Steven Hensley, RHP, Elon (91-93 fastball. Can touch 95. Great slider. can throw cutter and change. Inconsistant. Intense. Hardheaded. Needs to throw more strikes and fastball can flatten out and hit hard when he is off)
Andrew Lieber, RHP, Long Beach
Scott Greene, RHP, Kentucky (big arm and frame. injuries. needs to show results)
Cris Carpenter, RHP, Kent State (big arm and frame. injuries. needs to show results)
Josh Lindblom, RHP, Purdue (RELIEVER) (HS 3rd rounder. power stuff. thrived since move to closer's role. 95-98 mph)

Fourth round
Luke Burnett, RHP, Louisiana Tech (showed mid-90s velo as ace closer as a soph and on Cape. Only low-90s velo and no command in a poor starting stint as jr. 6-8)
Preston Guilmet, RHP, Arizona (one of best pitchers in NCAA past 2 years. Average stuff. Odd, directly over-the-top delivery)
Cody Satterwhite, RHP, Ole Miss (Has hit 97 in past. was 92-93 this spring in an effort to throw strikes. tall frame, can sink the ball. poor command and feel for pitching. might be a reliever)
Clayton Shunick, RHP, NC State (great arm. sits 89-92 with sink. Great splitter)

Brett Jacobsen, RHP, Vanderbilt (Enigma. blue chip prospect out of HS was up and down for first two years at Vandy. Expected to be rotation anchor this year but collapsed. Has shown some resurgance in pen. Still has a great frame, good arm, good stuff and throws strikes but gets hit)
